Welcome to Gardenz (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “App”). Gardenz is a mobile gardening and garden planner application developed and operated by WEBNUM LLC, a limited liability company registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan with its principal place of business in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect your personal information when you download, install, access, or use the Gardenz mobile application on iOS or Android devices. By using Gardenz, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the practices described herein.

When you use Gardenz, you may voluntarily provide the following information:
- Account Information: Username (e.g., “test1”), profile picture or avatar selection, and optional display name.
- Garden Data: Information about your gardens, including garden name (e.g., “My Garden”), location type (e.g., Balcony, Backyard, Indoor), grid layout, plant placements, and custom notes.
- Plant Data: Plant types you are growing, planting dates, growth stages, harvest dates, watering schedules, fertilizing schedules, and personal notes about your plants.
- Task Data: Gardening tasks you create, complete, or schedule through the planner.
- User Preferences: Measurement unit preferences (Celsius/Fahrenheit, metric/imperial), notification settings, vibration preferences, language selection, and theme preferences.
- Communications: Messages, questions, or content you send to our Gardener AI assistant feature, as well as any communications you send to our support team at info@webnum.com.
- Feedback and Reviews: Any feedback, reviews, suggestions, or reports you voluntarily submit to us.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use Gardenz, certain information is collected automatically:
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version (iOS/Android), device identifier (such as IDFA on iOS or AAID on Android), screen resolution, language settings, and time zone.
- Usage Data: App features you use, screens you visit, buttons you tap, time spent in the App, crash reports, performance data, and error logs.
- Location Data: With your explicit permission, we access your approximate location (city-level, such as “Tashkent, UZB”) to provide location-relevant features including weather information, planting calendars adjusted to your climate zone, and seasonal gardening recommendations. You can deny, revoke, or modify location permissions at any time through your device settings.
- Weather Data: Based on your location, we retrieve weather conditions (temperature, cloud cover, humidity) to provide gardening recommendations.
- Log Data: IP address, access timestamps, session duration, and referring URLs (where applicable).
2.3 Information from Third-Party Services
Gardenz integrates with third-party services that may provide us with additional information:
- Analytics Providers: We use analytics tools to understand how users interact with Gardenz, which helps us improve the App.
- Advertising Networks: If you use the free version of Gardenz, advertising networks may collect advertising identifiers to serve personalized ads.
- Subscription and Payment Processors: Apple App Store and Google Play Store process your subscription purchases (Gardenz PRO). We do not directly receive or store your payment card information.
- AI Service Providers: When you use the Gardener AI assistant feature, your queries are processed through third-party AI service providers to generate responses.
2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect
We want to be transparent about what we do not collect:
- We do not collect financial account numbers, bank details, or full credit card numbers.
- We do not collect government identification documents (passport numbers, social security numbers, or national IDs).
- We do not collect health or medical records.
- We do not collect biometric data.
- We do not access your phone contacts, SMS messages, call logs, or email content.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following legitimate purposes:
3.1 To Provide and Operate Gardenz
- Create and maintain your user account
- Enable core features such as the garden planner, plant tracker, task scheduler, and growth stage monitoring
- Save your gardens, plants, tasks, and preferences across sessions
- Sync your data across devices when you sign in to the same account
- Provide weather-based and location-based gardening recommendations
3.2 To Personalize Your Experience
- Customize planting calendars based on your geographic location and climate zone
- Recommend plants suitable for your growing conditions
- Display seasonal guides relevant to your hemisphere and region
- Remember your measurement unit preferences (Celsius/Fahrenheit) and display preferences
- Adjust content to your selected language
3.3 To Power the Gardener AI Assistant
- Process your questions through AI services to provide gardening advice
- Analyze queries to improve AI response quality over time
- Maintain conversation context within a session
3.4 To Send Notifications
- Send push notifications about watering reminders, fertilizing schedules, harvest dates, and upcoming tasks (only with your permission)
- Notify you about seasonal gardening tips relevant to your location
- Send important account and service announcements
You can disable notifications at any time through the App settings or your device system settings.
3.5 To Improve and Develop Gardenz
- Analyze usage patterns to identify which features are most valuable
- Diagnose and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues
- Develop new features based on user behavior and feedback
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize user experience

- Send important updates about the App, changes to this Privacy Policy, or changes to our Terms of Use
- Send optional marketing communications (only with your explicit consent, where required by law)
3.7 To Display Advertising (Free Version)
- Show ads through third-party advertising networks (such as Google AdMob) in the free version of Gardenz
- Measure ad performance and prevent fraud
- Subject to Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework on iOS, where applicable
3.8 To Ensure Legal Compliance and Security
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and illegal activity
- Enforce our Terms of Use

- Protect the rights, property, or safety of WEBNUM LLC, our users, and the public
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with similar data protection laws, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal data:
- Performance of a Contract: To provide Gardenz services you requested (such as saving your garden data and syncing across devices).

All third-party service providers are contractually obligated to use your data only for the specified purposes and to implement appropriate security measures.

6. AI-Powered Features Disclosure
Gardenz includes the Gardener AI assistant feature, which provides gardening advice, plant care guidance, and answers to your gardening questions. You should be aware of the following:
- Your queries to the AI assistant are processed through third-party AI service providers to generate responses.
- AI responses are automatically generated and may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors. They should not replace professional horticultural, agricultural, or medical advice.
- Do not enter sensitive personal information (financial data, health information, government IDs, or confidential third-party information) into the AI assistant.
- We may use anonymized AI interaction data to improve the feature’s quality and accuracy.
- You are responsible for verifying AI-provided information before acting on it, especially regarding plant toxicity, pesticide use, or any action that could affect human or animal health.
7. Data Storage, Security, and Retention
7.1 Data Storage Location
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers operated by our service providers. Data may be transferred to and stored in countries other than your country of residence, including countries that may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
7.2 Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL protocols
- Encryption of data at rest where applicable
- Secure authentication mechanisms
- Access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

Gardenz is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to Gardenz, please contact us at info@webnum.com and we will take immediate action to remove the information.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
Gardenz may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content (such as blog articles in the Explore tab, seasonal guides, or external gardening resources). This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services before providing them with personal information.
The following third-party services are currently integrated with Gardenz:
- Apple App Store and Google Play Store (subscription processing)
- Google AdMob or similar advertising networks (for free-tier advertising)
- Cloud hosting and database providers (for data storage)
- Analytics providers (for usage analytics)
- Weather data APIs (for location-based weather information)
- AI service providers (for the Gardener AI assistant feature)
11. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS devices running iOS 14.5 or later, Gardenz complies with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. When required, Gardenz will request your permission before tracking your activity across other apps and websites owned by third parties for advertising purposes.
You can change your tracking preferences at any time through Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iOS device.
If you deny tracking permission, you will still be able to use Gardenz, but ads shown in the free version may be less personalized.
12. International Data Transfers
WEBNUM LLC is based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Your personal information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Uzbekistan, the United States, the European Union, or other countries where our service providers operate.
When we transfer your personal information from the EEA, UK, or other jurisdictions with data protection laws, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, to ensure your information receives adequate protection.
13. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Gardenz offers premium features through Gardenz PRO subscriptions. Please note the following:
- All payments are processed by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). We do not receive or store your payment card information.
- Subscription purchases are governed by Apple’s and Google’s respective terms and privacy policies.
- Your subscription status (active/inactive, tier, expiration date) is provided to us by the App Stores to unlock premium features.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
For billing inquiries, contact Apple or Google directly, as they process the transactions.
14. Do Not Track Signals
Some web browsers and mobile operating systems offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for DNT, Gardenz does not currently respond to DNT signals. However, you can control tracking and advertising preferences through:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (App Tracking Transparency)
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
- Within Gardenz: App settings to disable notifications, location access, and other data collection features
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or features. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document
- Notify you through the App (via in-app notification or banner)
- For significant changes, provide 30 days’ advance notice before the changes take effect
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of Gardenz after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
16. Uzbekistan Data Protection Compliance
As a company registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan, WEBNUM LLC complies with the Uzbekistan Law “On Personal Data” (No. ЗРУ-547 of July 2, 2019) and related regulations. This includes obligations regarding localization of personal data of Uzbekistan residents, security measures, and user rights.
